Ezekiel Northwest Tour, Slashed

Found a random film scan on my computer from our Ezekiel Northwest Tour we did last year. One of best times ever.

I think this was from one of our last days in Seattle, WA. Lou wanted to get home after this and drove 18 hours straight back to Yreaka. I do remember, this was shot on my Yashica T4, one of my sharpest camera's ever.

Am Getting Paid in Montreal

Out in Montreal right now, for Am Getting Paid with Mr. Randy Ploesser for the week. Things are looking pretty french canadian, but in a good way (if their is a good way, skidding) Ryan Decenzo turned 23 last night, and we celebrated as if he was still 19! Randy Ploesser in FTK

This is Randy Ploesser (pronounced - "Placer") and his FTK interview in the same issue as the Escape from New York article. Pretty hyped on this one, a lot of these photos were taken when Randy was staying at my skatehostel, and we just lerked around LA and shredded. Actually tho, the first wallride was shot in the wonderful city of Nashville, TN, on our Ezekiel HOTSPOTality Tour. Thanks TENNSKATE!

Ezekiel Northwest Tour in Bliss Magazine

Yes, we bled the shit out of this Ezekiel Northwest Tour. I'm sorry, but if we can only go on 1 or 2 major trips a year, I wanna make sure everyone gets alot out of it.

This is the Bliss Article, that was ran a month or so back, with Louie Barletta, Randy Ploesser, Zach Wagner, Dave Abair, Evan Smith and Derek Fukuhara - which it was also written by Derek, which was super nice and sweet of him.

Thanks to Bliss Magazine for using my photos and running this, thanks to Derek for writing it, and thanks for Ezekiel Clothing for sending us! We had a blast, really.

Randy Ploesser Ezekiel Ad 2009

In serious need of a update, here is my first of many. I got a couple mins, just enough time to update nicely. This was an Ezekiel Clothing ad I shot of Randy Ploesser when he was living out here. Lucky for me, this spot is on a major street, but only a couple blocks from my house (you cant go wrong with a session in your own town).

The portrait to the right was a candid shot in San Jose when we were on our Ezekiel Northwest Tour. Randy was kinda disappointed in us for using this photo, which I can totally understand, but then again, this is such an epic photo of Randy's quirk.

We shot on the Ezekiel Northwest Tour the day after our nicely relaxing camping trip. Everyone shredding this bank to non-belief. It was crazy, and of course Randy had devised a trick that was not only inventive, but equally amazing.

As you seen the posts a couple months back, Ezekiel went on a Northwest Tour and skated everything and all of it.
Well, Skateboarder was soo kind as to give us the cover of the Febuary Issue of the Louie photo I shot! It's my first cover for a major magazine other then the ones I shot for FTK.
Plus a wonderful 10 page article with our entire trip. Randy wrote the story and I shot the photos. One of the best trips I've been on! Thanks soo much to Skateboarder and the Ezekiel Skateteam! Plus: Theresa, Matt Miller, Chris Ray, Jesse from Adidas, Alex Cazanas and everyone else who helped us on our trip.

BAILS AND KICKOUTS

Jumping over a hydrant is already a skill enough, but add a bump and a fair amount of distance, and the curve goes up.

A couple days ago, we skated this spot, bump over hydrant with not a small gap either. With the likes of Devin Appelo, Jon Dixon and Randy Ploesser the spot was skated thoroughly, but not without some kickouts - which make for some pretty awesome photos. I mean, imagine if your everyday Joe spectator saw these photos.. they'd probably assume the worst and broken bones.

As we both know, this is everyday grind.

RANDY PLOESSER'S NEW EZEKIEL AD

People commented to me about this ad, some were confused saying, "Just a wallie?", others really liked how it was split into two pictures because it really showed the entire trick, which I really liked too. It was cool how Randy just laid this thing out and was able to do it mulitple times for us to keep shooting different angles. Randy Ploesser / Wallie over to 5050 in Brooklyn.

Yes, Randy is hot right now. Skating super good meanwhile traveling everywhere from NYC, STL, and LA. This was some abandon drainage ditch, not really sure exactly. Mark took us here while in Chattanooga in TN and it started to rain insanely at the snap of lighting! Below are the original photo, and an outtake shot.

Quick birthday party at the sleeziest bar in town. Beach Girls or something like that. Contained many bumbling sweethearts, who laughed a jokes that wern't funny, and touched alot - probably all to get a bigger tip. Lame, but still equally fun.
