Red Bull sent Philipp and I up to San Francisco to skate, and just hang. We ended up hanging with Lee Yankou and just having a great time, especially for a Austrian who has never been to the United States West Coast. Here is the write up from the trip.

Joey and I did this little tidbit for Red Bull Skateboarding before we went skating one day. The concept was simple, what would you grab from your house if you only have 5 mins. I asked Joey, and this is what he came up with.

Decenzo's Road to San Jose Trip

The Decezno Duo, Ryan and Scott plus Cooper Wilt, Derek Fukuhara and Ricky Webb went up to San Jose one weekend for a contest called Triple Set Challenge.

We didn't do much but hang out, drink beers and do some skateboarding. It was really fun, and very low stress, plus Ricky and Ryan won some money at the contest! Double Bonus! All in all, SBC posted some pictures of our trip on their site.

Volcom/Redbull Aussies in America

Just came back from this trip with the Volcom Australia Team to the Bay Area. A couple of the guys ride for Redbull OZ too, so that worked out nicely. Thinking I was gonna be totally harassed being the ONLY AMERICAN on this trip consisting of Joe Pease, Andrew Mapstone, Jack Fardell, Kieran Reilly, Shane Azar and Jake Duncombe, I'd say it was rather tame. They are just a good group of Aussy's who wanna shred, drink and talk with funny words. More posts on this coming soon!

Long Lost Film, where are thou.

I know this is probably the most typical photo blog posts, but it's because really true, and I think one of the more special things about using film. The break down is: I went on this Red Bull Trip to London, and I brought the following insane amount of camera's. Some Minolta 35mm, that I had thrift stored on the Ezekiel Northwest Tour for $10.00, Panny HVX, the standard digital skate kit, and my little point and shoot digital camera. Kinda nuts, I know.

Anywho, I had no idea if this Minolta bargin camera could even shoot, because I was still on my first roll since the Northwest Tour. Then almost 6 - 8 months later, I find a couple rolls in my bag and Viola! Blast from the emulsion past! Read and check out most of the photos here.

I just finished/posted a short chat with Ryan Decenzo on Red Bull Skateboarding,com

It was really short and just a quick overview on what the hell he is doing right now, but not really, because he moves and changes soo fast. At the point of this interview he was in Montreal, but I just skated with him yesterday, soo apparently the kids on-the-go. He mentioned he is finishing up his UBF#5 part for Globe, so check that out when its released.

Red Bull's Held Hostage in Hawaii Story

I went to Hawaii a while back with Red Bull, I think it was this past winter for a little skate/blog/vacation trip. The last time I was in Hawaii it was with Blind and Ezekiel for some demos.

Simply, I shot the HVX to do the "behind the scenes". This camera was not at the caliber to document the actual shoot.
Imagine the possiblities.. only with the power of Red Bull. I mean, the damn juice gives you wings!
