J.Wak Wednesdays - The Secret Edit

I remember this edit that Jason made a while back, it was a fun thing to do, and it was a culmination of just a bunch of footage we had in between Filmbot Files and his 411VM part. Brings back Memories!

J.Wak Wednesdays - Noseblunt Pop In

This was the first photo I shot of Jason Wakuzawa doing a noseblunt popout from the bank to ledge. I remember it getting used as an Ezekiel Ad and being super hyped. Eitherway, here it is again. Miss you Jason, wish you were out shredding the streets again, call me up!

Jason Wakuzawa / Remembering the Turf Video

Jason Wakuzawa! YES!! I have been waiting for this part to go online! Thanks Turf.

This video brings back memories of our huge 10 country trip to Europe for 7 weeks with Ezekiel. It was called the Deported Tour with Derek Fukuhara, Jason Wakuzawa, Mark Stewart, plus met up with Oli Telisch, Jeremy Reinhard, Marty Murawski for 2 days and Louie Barletta and Gaston Francisco, who came for the last two weeks. One of the best times of my life.

Thanks to all who helped us on that trip. Ezekiel Clothing, Our mighty leader: Oli Telish, Esa from Control, our Russian Distributors: Denis and Natalia, Aldo from Amsterdam, Dave and Jack from London and Love from Sweden.

Damn that was some good times! Le Sigh.

Jason Wakuzawa and Derek Fukuhara 411VM ReDux

I found this re-edit online of Derek Fukuhara and Jason Wakuzawa's 411VM part. This is the text along with the video: "I made this because I hated the song that they used in the actual video but I really liked the skating in it. So I remixed it to a song given to me by a friend (Malkovich Music) and added my own animation at the beginning. You can probably find the original version on YouTube and tell me which one you think is better! Honesty is welcomed and appreciated." - Miles Wilkerson - http://vimeo.com/turbovision

Invading Giant Robots

So a couple days ago, I am driving in LA, and I see this chalk drawing on the wall. Realizing that their is a Giant Robot in LA, I couldn't but to think of Filmbot from Filmbot Files... being this terrifying and overly giant robot. But to answer some of the rumors of a possible FB2 video. I will reply with...

World Revisited

I came across an recent photo of Jason Wakuzawa and Chad Fernandez at the 2008 X-Games.. Wow, can you imagine these two used to ride for the same company back in the day. Tho I am still pretty good friends with Jason, it was wild seeing Chad. Just thought I would share this tidbit of love.

KENNY ANDERSON in MONSTER MAG

This was a shot that I kinda lucked out on. Kenny happened to be skating with Lim, Pensyl, Vern and I forgot.. J.Wak probably.. Anyways, Kenny was kinda just twiddling around with this backsmith. Seemed easy for him, and the photo came out amazing considering its next to a huge semi.. Man against Machine? Isn't it crazy how even in the photo, the style just oozes out. Thanks to Monster Mag from Germany for running my photo.

Jason Wakuzawa and OTwo Collaboration

What I love about skateboarding and photography is that we are all creating upon creating. Wow that sounded really cheezy.. but anyways, what was awesome is that I get an email from Otwo, an artist from London who did the artwork on the side of the wall (see photo above). He tracked me down from Ezekiel Europe and asked for a hi-rez photo for his porfolio. Fucking ripping! Check out his older blog for and artwork for updates on OTwo.

BLISS Magazine featuring Jason Wakuzawa

My photos were featured in an JASON WAKUZAWA article in BLISS MAGAZINE a couple months back. We shot this entire interview pretty much in Europe over the course of our the DEPORTED tour. This is only 7 weeks (*actually 6 cause he left early) and most of it was pretty much within 10 mins of trying. Jason is one of those kids who really can do anything, anytime he wants. Its pretty insane, and I am blessed to have ever skated with him. Lets go skate, Jason!

SLACK | DEPORTED TOUR

I finally got around to getting all our articles from our Ezekiel "Deported Tour" last year. This is my first tour article, especially one from Europe. It was in Slack, a CCS style magazine from Germany. Thanks Oli for setting this up. If you look carefully or follow our Ezekiel coverage, alot of the photos are double angles from other European articles we had during our time in Europe.
Go ahead and click above to view the article, and book your next flight to Europe already, duh!
