Crash Caught

You know when traffic is backed up insanely, and you come to find out that their is an accident on the opposite side of the fwy, because your fwy direction is slowing down for the people who wanted to see it.. I took a photo so you can always know what's on that other side.

Derek Fukuhara Slashed

Lurking through the files and found a crooks photo of Derek Fukuhara when we were on our Portugal trip earlier this year. It was obviously the same session as this photo, and Derek was just slashing around. That was a great trip, and we just enjoy'd life. Skatetrip was what it was.. but, it was quite the vacation! Thanks Oli, Louie, Derek and the Ezekiel Euro team!

About 10 of us headed over to this new spot which Amir told us about. Bank to wall to manny!? Crazy. Well as you might have seen in Derek's "Get Off Me" Part (coming soon on Thrasher Magazine) the day went on with him trying a wallride to manny.

This took him while to just time and balance correctly. After landed, everyone was skating around doing wallrides and other various random wall stuff, and he was progressively landing fakie on the pad. A shout out from the crowd, "Hey, do a wallride to fakiemanny?" Hmmm, this could work, and about 8 tries later, you see the result below.


After I asked Derek, did he know he was gonna 180 out, his response was "Anyway my board was gonna go, I was gonna follow." Thanks to Thrasher and Derek!

SKATEBOOK / HELLMAG

I might go as far to say Skatebook is a current quarterly coffee table book. Actually I heard a quote the other day "Wow, with quality like this, magazines don't have a chance." That's quite a bold statement, but Skatebook is a delight no matter the opinions.

Here are the shots I took for their AM book they did called Hell Mag. Super happy from the outcome. Thanks to all the people who helped Deville, Skatebook, Provost, Dix and Gayboi. Can't wait to see the next one. Click on the picks to enlarge.

Mark Frolich in Skateboarder

On the last international trip I went on to Portual with Louie and Derek, we also had our Ezekiel International team with us, starting with Jart Pro Mark Frolich. Whoa, this dude rips!
So we head to this chest high out bar, which if you flip over to one side, you obviously crash into the stairs, so Mark hauls ass and rips a backside 180 nosegrind probably in like 10 tries. Soo cool! It was a super bright day so we pretty much had our flashes on top of him. Thinking back.. that was a good trip. Thanks to Mark, Oli and Skateboarder!
