The Graduate

Sitting here updating this never updated blog, watching one of the most acclaimed movies of all times.. In which I have never watched. I must say the first 15 mins is probably one of the best 15 mins ever, but maybe because its 3am.

Today was a delightfully pleasant day, of lerking throughout the hills of the old Los Angeles. John Lupfer joined with Anthony WIlliams and the normal crew of Derek and Vince started off at Stereo then moved on to the spot you see to your left.. Very rarely is it a day where the times passes, everyone is wonderfully cordial and doesn't care about our skating. I mean, when does that happen?

"Oh no, Mrs. Robinson. I think, I think you're the most attractive of all my parents' friends. I mean that."

I do believe the best part of everyone's landed trick is always the wonderful coaster of a ride afterwards. Personally I cant make it down half way without jumping off, but hey.. there is a reason I am not in the pictures and I am shooting them.

I just opened the new Skateboarder, and WHAM! The knarliest photos of Leo Romero! (see cover to left)

Also tons of great interview's along with Kris Markovich interviewed by the ever inquisitive Chris Nieratko (he interviewed most skaters in the mag) plus a couple photos that I was happy to see get run. Such as Mr. John Lufper in which one of his interview'd questions was "Who's mustashe is better.. Caswell's or Mikendo's?" Guess who won? Obvees.


Cezar's photo came by way of mystical magical way's. We went to that now ever so famous hubba spot. Derek Fukuhara and Vince shot some neat stuff earlier, then went up to the top.. Boom. 10 tries. Landed. No regular bs tail, no warmup. He had been standing around for about 1 hour. It's sometimes insane what I watch certain skateboarders do. Amazing. World Revisited

I came across an recent photo of Jason Wakuzawa and Chad Fernandez at the 2008 X-Games.. Wow, can you imagine these two used to ride for the same company back in the day. Tho I am still pretty good friends with Jason, it was wild seeing Chad. Just thought I would share this tidbit of love.

We shot on the Ezekiel Northwest Tour the day after our nicely relaxing camping trip. Everyone shredding this bank to non-belief. It was crazy, and of course Randy had devised a trick that was not only inventive, but equally amazing.

Issey Yumiba

I just got back from a trip which might get blogged later, but I came across this wonderful video part a local kid, Issey Yumiba. Fucking rad Issey! Also great job Amir GT, cant wait to see more from you guys.
