LUPFER LOSES MILLIONS!

I headed down to SD to shoot an Ezekiel Ad of Lupfer - for his new DEBUT ad. Afterwards we headed to Barona as we walked in deposited our money into a "THANK YOU SUCKER" box and left. Here is Lups, getting more money to just go straight to the box and leave, and this was my drive home.. kinda a blur.

Skated with Mr. Romar today, I captured him in mid airwalk. If you only knew the trick he was aiming for.. Guess you will have to wait and see!

Steve Marino, probably one of the worst dudes ever.
Was in town for a quickie and talked mad shit on California, now back in NY, where I told him he could go back to if he didn't like it. Hhahha.

The Backtrack to Devilles Birthday Celebration

Quick birthday party at the sleeziest bar in town. Beach Girls or something like that. Contained many bumbling sweethearts, who laughed a jokes that wern't funny, and touched alot - probably all to get a bigger tip. Lame, but still equally fun.

Old Digital Footage... FOUND

Yeah, this was my angle that wasn't used.. Which at the time I was kinda bumbed. Cause the angle they did use was from a tripod or something.. I don't remember exactly. What I do remember, is the pure talent and raw determination that Paul had for this trick. What I can recall Gailea and Hastie were sitting on the steps at the bottom, talking, and it was slightly distracting to Paul. He rolled up one try, stopped and just said these words, "Hey buds, just give me 15 min's and I'll crank this out".

Within 5 mins, they were deep into their conversation again.

Derek Fukuhara Cover of FTK

I guess it about time to post this.. DEREK GOT THE COVER FOR FTK!
Derek and I flew to China for 1 day, to shoot this on their exact replication of the Emporers Palace in HOTLNGDONG. Then caught the next flight out of there, before they found out we had destroyed alot of the towers. We are offically banned from China. SHIT!

Dave Abair - Beauty or the Beast?

Robert Lim Ezekiel Ad

This is Roberts Lim's first Ezekiel Ad! Robert was kinda struggling with this trick. The bstail was every try, but when he would come off the curve his body wanted to go 180. After some frustration, it was almost like a light bulb over his head. And he called out "Ok dudes, dont fuck up, cause imma land it this try" Snap, Slide, Flip, Catch and Land.. What you dont see in the ad, is an extra two frames of shock in his face. He called it, and he did it. Skateboarding is wonderful.

Cezar's 21st Bday son!

We went to Cezar's 21st Bday this weekend. Started off simple, and cute (see picture below)

Finished off the night with this 100$ bottle of Champ, from a Lawyer, Maroon 5 lover and a drug dealer.

The dynamic duo if you will.. These two go together about as good as Peanuts and Nail Polish! But as I discovered their common bond is the most strongest type: Skateboarding and Beer! It doesn't get much stronger then that.

This worked out perfect on our 5boro and Ezekiel skate trip to Montreal. One of the last days we shot this cover in EXTREME below zero cold, I mean no joke, everyone else was in the car watching calling random Canadian girls we met during the week. Congrats to Robert Lim not only being a lush, but now a cover boy with his recent cover of FTK.

Randy is my new couch mate, and has been destroying my spots and my non existant food. At this very moment he is sleeping in my office, cuddled up into a little ball from all the 80$ champagne last night. Good times.
