RANDY PLOESSER'S NEW EZEKIEL AD

People commented to me about this ad, some were confused saying, "Just a wallie?", others really liked how it was split into two pictures because it really showed the entire trick, which I really liked too. It was cool how Randy just laid this thing out and was able to do it mulitple times for us to keep shooting different angles. Randy Ploesser / Wallie over to 5050 in Brooklyn.

Speaking of tricks, did you guys ever see Randy's contents in Skateboarder? That was bananas!

SEAN CONOVER in CONCRETE PHOTO ANNUAL

Concrete's Photo Annual featured two of my more favorite photos that I had been saving for a good photo feature such as this. Oli Teilsch is like my brother from another mother in Germany. He is the editor of Monster Mag, TM at Ezekiel Europe and rips at skating too, I love that kid!! So when Ezekiel was out there on our Deported Tour, he took the crew to Belgium and the entire team shot photos within a block of this central plaza. Afterwards everyone showered and proceeded to get drunk and walked around the city. Fucking rad.

Sean Conover's photo was shot in Texas, during our Southern Hotspotality Tour. This tour is when Sean took all the rocks out of his pockets. He destroyed everywhere we skated, it was the most impressive thing I have ever seen! Fully backing that kid! He was super patient with me as I was fiddling with the flashes inside the caves, running in then shooting a tester, then running back in again.. Thanks everyone for getting this to happen!

CHRIS GREGSON in SKATEBOARDER MAG

Soo I drove down to Skateboarder a couple weeks ago, and pick up the newest issue there.. Chris Gregson's photo is all up in there, nice!! Chris took me to this spot (which you can see is almost a insane vert pipe / death drop) and he found a way to tailslide the top part. What's soo radical, is this isn't how I originally wanted to shoot the photo. But what happened was Chris's friend dropped his board which knocked my flash into the tube. I left it for one shot.. and it blew the inside of the tunnel up. I was WHOA!! Re-adjusted the flash to fit in there nicely, and there you have it. Accidents making art or art making accidents?

MANNY MANIA NYC

Just got back from NYC doing this overly extensive writeup coverage for the Red Bull Site of Manny Mania 2008. It was some of the best techincal skateboarding I've seen in a damn long time. Congrats to Joey Brezinski for winning the contest! Read up for more details.

Evan Smith in Color Magazine

Wow, Evan Smith is blowing up isn't he? Well congrats to the little dunny, he deserves it of course. This bs5.0 fsrevert in was supposed to be in his 411VM Am issue part, shame that doesn't ever get to be viewed. I remember this night in TX from our Ezekiel US tour, we were just cranking out tricks and this one was the easy go for him for how tight the ramp is. Thanks to Color Magazine for throwing in little dunny in this issue.

NATE BROUSSARD in SKATEBOARDER

Back when Nate was staying at my house, we were skating sporadically. When possible was super cool to go skate with him and shoot some of the idea's he had. Nate is a free thinker with his skating and doesn't seem to let the typical setback's effect him. Tree wallie back180.

KENNY ANDERSON in MONSTER MAG

This was a shot that I kinda lucked out on. Kenny happened to be skating with Lim, Pensyl, Vern and I forgot.. J.Wak probably.. Anyways, Kenny was kinda just twiddling around with this backsmith. Seemed easy for him, and the photo came out amazing considering its next to a huge semi.. Man against Machine? Isn't it crazy how even in the photo, the style just oozes out. Thanks to Monster Mag from Germany for running my photo.

JOEY PEPPERS NEW EZEKIEL AD

JOEY PEPPERS NEW AD! Soo hyped on this photo! Out in NY, things can get confusing, out at night, too hot during the day, no car to solidify crews, we're just skating through the streets. On one day, Pepps said he wanted to do this trick and had already landed it, so obviously I was keen on the idea. Upon arriving he was already cranker out and needless to say, the ad above was incredible. Thank you Joey Pepper for your time and effort, see you in NY!
